The title of presentation: Urban Water Governance: an OECD perspective
At a time when most of the population is urban and likely to be so in the future, the link between water and cities becomes increasingly tight. Demographic growth, urbanisation and climate change inevitably affect water supply, demand and water quality. Building on a survey of 48 cities in OECD countries and emerging economies, the OECD report “Water Governance in Cities” analyses key factors affecting urban water governance, assesses multi-level governance gaps in urban water management and provides policy responses.
